Terms of service

StormCloud AI ("StormCloud", "we", "us") provides an automated SEO scanning and reporting platform for small and medium-sized businesses. These terms govern your use of the platform at stormcloudai.com (the "Service").

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 18 years old, and either using the Service for a business or with the business's permission. You may only register a domain you control or have written authorisation to scan.

Paid plans renew monthly via Stripe. Charges are taken automatically on each renewal date. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not pro-rate refunds.

One-off purchases (per-fix guides, competitor scans, analytics setup) are non-refundable once the deliverable has been generated. If you have a genuine concern with a purchase, get in touch — we'll do the right thing.

The Service runs automated technical SEO scans, uses third-party APIs and AI models to generate reports and recommendations, and where authorised, applies fixes to your site via credentials you provide. Reports are estimates and predictions — actual SEO outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

You retain all rights in your data, your site content, and any credentials you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. Credentials are encrypted at rest and are used only to perform the operations you have requested.

• Don't scan websites you don't own or have permission to scan.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the Service or scrape its outputs at scale.
• Don't use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
• Don't resell access to the Service without our written permission.

We aim for high availability but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may make changes, schedule maintenance, and update features over time. We will give reasonable notice of any change that materially reduces the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (loss of profit, business, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings). Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or for legal or security reasons. On termination, your data is removed from active systems within 30 days, subject to retention required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
